This Yamaha G5 originally purchased in1985 is a wonderful alternative if your in the market for a beautiful C5  but looking for a great value. When the piano arrived I was extremely impressed with the condition of the case and sound. Hammers and action are original and all in excellent condition. This piano has had very little playing time through the years. As with all our pianos prior to 2010 this piano will receive a complete set of new strings, it will be cleaned and detailed to NEW standards AND sold with 5 year Warranty!

Our
pianos will not arrive with old looking strings, dirty soundboards, oxidized and dull metal surfaces. This is because we make sure every inch of the piano inside and out is cleaned, buffed, polished  to new standards. The pictures you see here you will NEVER see from another piano company as they only clean the interior and exterior where we restore to new standards!
The Yamaha G5 is a 6'6" Grand Piano. It occupies the quality leverl between the C3 and C5. It is in all respects the same as a C5 but for the iron plate and beveled lid. All other components are the same. "C" series grand are made more for commercial use as in a university or teaching studio where the piano would be used 8 or more hours a day. They have a heavier plate which enables better tuning stability under those circumstances.
